Hérna kemur smá snilldar atriði úr The Red Dragon Þegar Will (Edward Norton) er að byðja Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) um að hjálpa sér við "Red Dragon" málið:

Will:.....there is a nother reason!!!
Lecter: I´m all ears.
Will: I thought you mayght enjoy the challange!...find out if you are smarter than the person that
I´m looking for.
Lecter: Then by implication you think you are smarter than I am, since it was you who caught me...
Will: No I know I´m not smarter than you!...
Lecter: Then how did you catch me?
Will: (hikandi)..you had...disadvantages!
Lecter:(hissa og forvitnislega) What disadvantages?
Will: You are insane!!!
